INTERNATIONAL SYMPOSIUM “IMPACT” 2025: IMPROVISATION, CREATIVITY AND RESEARCH-BASED EDUCATION IN THE PERFORMING ARTS
The third international “IMPACT” symposium, this year dedicated to creative collaborations and improvisation in the performing arts, will be held at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre from 3 to 6 December 2025. The theme of the event – “Creative Collaborations: Improvising the Unknown” – will invite researchers, artists and educators to examine the phenomena of creativity and improvisation from an interdisciplinary perspective.
The “IMPACT” network explores the intersections of creativity and improvisation, fostering dialogue between music, theatre, dance, media and artistic research. The 2025 symposium will focus on collaborative creative practices and improvisation of the unknown. The program will include presentations by international scholars and artists, interdisciplinary research and an experimental creative laboratory, which will present live improvisational artistic experiments.
The event is open to all listeners.
