Delfi shares the presentation of PARC researcher, actor and performing arts creator Dominykas Vaitiekūnas “How the Deaf Teach Me to Listen” at the conference “LOGIN 2025”, in which he talks about the cultural identity of the deaf community, sign language and stereotypes still prevalent in society. The talk discusses the attitude towards deafness not only as a disability, but also as a unique cultural identity, and also presents the project “Not What We Agreed”, which seeks to strengthen the dialogue between the deaf and hearing communities and increase cultural accessibility.
