The Performing Arts Research Center (PARC) conducts academic and artistic research that deepens our understanding of contemporary performing arts processes and integrates research findings into the international academic community. The goal of the Performing Arts Research Center (PARC) is to strengthen the quality and value of research and experimental development in the fields of music, theater, dance, and interdisciplinary arts, and to expand the dissemination of high-level research results of national and international significance. PARC seeks to conceptually renew and integrate interdisciplinary and cross-disciplinary Lithuanian performing arts research into the international scientific and cultural discourse by mobilizing and consolidating the scientific potential of the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre (LAMT) and international research teams.
