At the award ceremony of the Ministry of Culture of the Republic of Lithuania, held at the Sapieha Palace in Vilnius, distinguished creators, researchers and cultural workers in various fields of culture and art were honored.
The award for the best cultural education activities dedicated to lifelong learning was presented to Dominykas Vaitiekūnas, an actor, performing arts creator, and researcher at the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre’s Performing Arts Research Center (PARC).
The award is given for targeted cultural education activities with the deaf community and the project “Not What We Agreed”, which connects deaf and hearing people for joint creative activities, increases cultural accessibility, and promotes public understanding of the deaf community and its culture.
