{"id":3034,"date":"2026-07-20T14:13:28","date_gmt":"2026-07-20T11:13:28","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/parc.lmta.lt\/renginys\/conference-deaf-person-professional-performer-how-to-achieve-it\/"},"modified":"2026-07-20T15:01:53","modified_gmt":"2026-07-20T12:01:53","slug":"conference-deaf-person-professional-performer-how-to-achieve-it","status":"publish","type":"renginys","link":"https:\/\/parc.lmta.lt\/en\/renginys\/conference-deaf-person-professional-performer-how-to-achieve-it\/","title":{"rendered":"Conference \u201cDeaf Person &#8211; Professional Performer: How to Achieve it?\u201d"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p><em>Tuesday, March 17, 2026, 10 a.m.\u20131 p.m.<br\/>LMTA Study Campus, Cinema Hall (Oland\u0173 g. 21A, Vilnius)<\/em><\/p>\n\n<p><strong>The event will be held in Lithuanian and English, Lithuanian Sign Language and international gestures.<\/strong><\/p>\n\n<p>After receiving great success and interest from participants a year ago, the project \u201cNot What We Agreed\u201d invites you to the second conference \u201cDeaf Person &#8211; Professional Performer: How to Achieve it? 2026\u201d, during which professionals in their fields: deaf Canadian actress, television presenter, educator Dawn Jani Birley, lecturer at Vilnius College (Faculty of Pedagogy), translator-consultant of the Vilnius branch of the LGKVC, former president of the Lithuanian Society of the Deaf Vytautas Pivoras, and LGK (Lithuanian Sign Language) ambassador Ieva Pe\u010diulyt\u0117 will share their knowledge. <\/p>\n\n<p>The event will present \u201cNot What We Agreed\u201d, a musical audiovisual collection created jointly by deaf and hearing people, consisting of almost two dozen works, and its material has become a unique tool for educators working with deaf culture. This album can be seen and heard on the music listening platforms Spotify, YouTube and LRT Mediateka.
