We invite you to the presentation of Assoc. Prof. Dr. Brigita Bublyt\u0117’s monograph \u201cBalso kauk\u0117s. Vieta, kur susilieja garsas ir kalba, k\u016bnas ir tradicija, emocijos ir kult\u016bra\u201d (\u201cVoice Masks. A Place Where Sound and Language, Body and Tradition, Emotions and Culture Merge\u201d). <\/p>\n\n

This is a book about the voice \u2013 as an instrument of creativity, identity, tradition and communication. The author explores vocal expression in the practice of actors, singers and contemporary performers as well as in ethnic traditions, inviting us to rediscover the power of speaking, singing, screaming, wailing and listening. <\/p>\n\n

During the event, the voice will sound live – the \u201cVoice Masks\u201d ensemble and the LMTA student group specially assembled for this evening will perform.Participating are Darius Me\u0161kauskas, R\u016bta Pribui\u0161ien\u0117, Daiva Ra\u010di\u016bnait\u0117-Vy\u010dinien\u0117.Moderator is Ramun\u0117 Balevi\u010di\u016bt\u0117.<\/p>\n\n

This is not just a book presentation, but also an experience – an opportunity to see how “voice masks” work on stage.<\/p>\n\n

The same evening at 6:00 PM, the presentation of the book \u201cFire and Faith. From February 26 to March 1, visit the Lithuanian Academy of Music and Theatre stand at the 26th Vilnius Book Fair:Hall 3, Stand 3.10.8LMTA Publishing Centre will present the latest publications, sheet music and audio recordings. <\/p>\n\n

The book fair’s theme, \u201cThe Word Seeks Man\u201d, resonates particularly through a living voice and a living story this year.<\/p>\n\n
